Background and experience

I was in charge of outbound tour operation when I worked at Nippon Travel Agency Canada. Nippon Travel Agency Canada is one of the authorized seller of Japan Rail Pass. I learned what kind of information the traveller who go to Japan want to know. Since I started to work as a freelance, I launched JPRail.com and provide the information about travel Japan by rail.

I am an Official Guide to Travel Canada in All About Inc. in Tokyo, Japan. I write the articles about sightseeing in Canada.

Background and experience

I have been working in the tourism business since 1991. I started as a tour guide in Vancouver and Banff. Then I worked at Nippon Express Travel Canada and Nippon Travel Agency Canada. I was in charge of the planning and marketing of packaged tours from Japan. My duties included research and promotion of new destinations, budgeting and estimation for new tour products, negotiations with suppliers and liaisons with destination marketing organizations, and sales trips to Japan.
